The First Green Innovation Hub in the Global Water Market Launched in Atlanta, Georgia.

May 1, 2010, Atlanta, GA (H2OAlliance) --- The business community is excited today by the announcement of the First Independent Green Technology Transfer and Investor Hub in the Global Water Market entitled, Acceleratum. This independent Green Technology business venture uses state-of-the-art innovations, and diverse partner resources to implement green technology solutions across industries and continents. The core focus is to solve critical problems, transform business and create new business models and jobs, and to contribute to solutions to one of the greatest challenges faced by mankind today, freshwater resource depletion and pollution.

"Water is the gossamer that links the web of food, energy, climate, economic growth and human security challenges the world faces over the next two decades. We simply cannot manage water in the future in the same way we have in the past or the economic web will collapse", the stark warning of a forecast released by the World Economic Forum.

H2OAlliance working groups and Green Call to Action (GCtA) partners are dedicated to collaborating with the Acceleratum Global Hub to advance the use of green technologies, and accelerating investment in companies that show the most commercial promise in delivering unique green solutions and new business models to industrial water users and water suppliers around the world.

Investment in green innovations, knowledge-based and time-tested technologies, products, and services, that can compete with traditional technologies in price and can be scaled, and will improve operational performance, productivity and efficiency, reduce freshwater inputs and energy and materials consumption, minimize waste and pollution, is the interest of every business, and society as a whole.

"Our vision is to ensure that the best green technologies have the opportunity to compete on a level playing field. It is a credit to academic and commercial systems across Europe, Russia and North America that have generated tremendous reservoir of green technological, and scientific advancement. Now, we want to give these innovators and centers of expertise the capability and unique opportunities to enter the Global Water Market ", says  Minna LeVine, Founder, H2OAlliance.

The Acceleratum work closely with Businesses, Government Agencies, Universities, and Research Institutes, as well as with other intellectual and technological reservoirs to bring forward the Best and the Brightest in Green Technology in Industrial and Environmental Water Management, for introduction to the Global Water Market.

The Acceleratum Hub serves a two-fold purpose: first as an Educational, and Awareness industry building vehicle under whose aegis, green technology innovators can begin to introduce, and penetrate the immensely deep and lucrative global marketplace. Second, as an investment vehicle to fund technology projects, enterprises and research to accelerate green progress and profits.

Companies, academia, professionals, and entrepreneurs can participate by joining Acceleratum as a Partner or a Charter Sponsor, or investing in green innovations, that show the most commercial promise. You can also help by making a contribution to one of the partner projects. Your contribution will go towards building awareness of the vast universe of research's contributions to water, and environmental science, industry and commerce as well as to emphasize the specific benefits of green technologies, products, and service technologies. If you prefer, you can fund a partner project through a grant. Your grant will be dedicated to building a platform from which the best green commercial enterprises will have the financial capability to enter, and compete in the global market.

GCtA partners continue to establish new strategic initiatives, and partnerships with companies, universities, research organizations, centers of excellence and funding sources around the world. Increased consumer, regulatory and industry interest is crucial in implementation of green technologies and to solve problems concerning freshwater resource depletion, and pollution around the world.

About Acceleratum Global

Green Energy Projects:  We are focusing on green and clean tech projects and technologies where we believe we may offer excellent value to investors in form of higher than normal returns. We identify projects that are demand driven, co-operating with strategic operators wishing to covert current project into green by utilizing a new technology or existing green technology in order to reduce emissions. We seek and arrange financing and participate in the execution of the project planning.

Green and Clean Technology Transfers:  We pre-screen with partner network new technologies, innovations or concepts that may prove to be main stream technology in the future and make investment and/or seek investment into selected and approved opportunities. We work hands-on in the project by developing business together with project owner to exit and unlock value to investors. We seek bigger transfer markets already prior of committing investment into the venture.

Acceleratum Value: We bring added value in building an expertise team around “green field” project for feasibility analysis, technology screening, implementation and follow up.
