Benefits of Real-Time Electrochemical Water Monitoring & Measuring

OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) News

Sample Water Project Overview

1. Water Quality Research and Management Project

The project starts with a thorough understanding of customer’s water-related problem, raw and treated water quality , and research on how to use electro-chemistry for real-time water quality analysis of your specific water resource or process. This requires a research of water source, industrial pollutants and surrounding water table in cooperation with local water research institutes and authorities.

The monitoring system is to collect reliable data in real-time and present the information in a visual and easily understandable format. The system is to detect quality changes faster and more accurately than any other existing methods used in water measurement.

In addition, the system is to reveal previously unknown phenomena. The system is to be cost-effective, almost maintenance free, wireless and an on-line method. The system measurement unit is to be durable and mobile.

1. 1 Goals
  • Water, Energy and Chemical Conservation
  • Waste Reduction
  • Water Management Efficiency
  • Risk Management
  • Ongoing Education, Development, Research

The aim of the Integrated Water Quality Research and Management Program is to develop new type of real-time water quality management system, which could be standardized for the use of the industrial process, and environment.

The information provided by the system will serve the water users, citizens, industry and/or authorities. The common system will increase productivity, efficiency, competitiveness and approve the monitoring of the natural waters.

Electrochemical water monitoring technology could offer you the world’s most advanced tools for diminishing the consumption of water, energy and chemicals in any water-related industrial process, and minimizing or even preventing environmental ecocide. The technology could be used by your water users, managers, industry, policy-makers and consumers in real-time through online user interfaces.

1.2 Benefits and Features

Impact of the successful electrochemical water technology application in any water quality monitoring project have an impact on the whole area, industry or country. Provided that we can measure in real-time the water source, and centralize the monitoring into one or few monitoring centers, the savings in environmental protection efficiency and labor would be remarkable.

In addition if the program can increase the efficiency of the use of water in industrial processes and even diminish the production disturbances. The energy, water, environmental and economical savings, and health benefits are significant.

2. Water Quality Research Project Plan

2.1 Objectives
  • Water conservation
