Terms and Conditions

H2oInstitute

  • We are a global network of people who believe that we must act now to address the World Water Crisis: (FreshWaterAlert);
  • We design, we manufacture, we promote, and we buy water-efficient consumer products and services (InnovateBlue);
  • We help create new companies, new jobs, and generate revenue through 'Blue' innovation;
  • We deliver new-tech solutions and effective water management plans to small or large size companies, including  multinational companies committed to water sustainability;
  • We tell our friends and co-workers to join our fast growing global network of individuals, companies and organizations;
  • We inform our elected officials, policy makers and local media about our water efficiency initiatives and program;
  • We believe that no individual will stop water crisis, but by working together, we can make it a priority for the companies and communities we work, live and play in.

Goals

Our goals are to use water resources more efficiently to preserve freshwater for future generations, while reducing water waste, and supporting local water projects to help people in need for safe and clean drinking water.

Through our PPP's, we provide reliable information on high-performing, water-efficient products and practices, raise awareness about the importance of water efficiency, identify water-efficient products, provide solutions to improve manufacturing performance, help consumers and professionals differentiate among products and programs that use less water, promote innovation in product development, and support local, state and country water PPP efforts.

Partnership Pledge

As an H2oInstitute partner,

______________________________________________________________________________ (name of organization),

shares H2oInstitute goals as outlined above and is proud to commit to the following activities to further these goals:

1. Promote the value of water efficiency, and encourage the effective manufacturing practices and purchase of water efficient products, as an easy and desirable option to reduce water use both in internal operations and for water users in our purview, such as customers, residents, businesses, and institutions. We will also promote services performed by H2oInstitute professionals. Complete the promotional plan checklist to identify your anticipated activities.

2. As appropriate, encourage eligible constituents, members, or affiliates to participate in the H2oInstitute initiatives such as InnovateBlue competition, and partnership programs.

3. Where feasible, sponsor incentive programs or other public events to promote H2oInstitute partner initiatives, products, services and the benefits of water efficiency.

4. For the public and the private sector: On an annual basis, provide data to H2oInstitute on promotional activities, incentive programs, and water use to assist in determining the impact of the program in promoting water efficient products, services, practices and methods.

5. For applicable trade associations: Provide aggregate data to H2oInstitute on your market share of your water efficient products, programs and services in relevant industry. Compile data submitted by members who are also H2oInstitute partners into a summary report to assist H2oInstitute in evaluating market trends and the success of the H2oInstitute partnership  program, without disclosing any proprietary information from other partners.

6. Feature InnovateBlue link on your Web site and in other promotional materials.

7. Adhere to promotional, partner, and program guidelines and ensure that authorized representatives, such as advertising agencies, distributors, and subcontractors, also comply. Help H2oInstitute maintain program integrity by alerting possible misuse(s) of the H2oInstitute program.

8. Grant the H2oInstitute permission to include your name on a list of participating partners on the H2oInsitute Web site, program materials, and announcements. Partners understand that from time to time, H2oInstitute will be interested in profiling partner accomplishments in case studies and articles. If selected for such promotion, partners will have the opportunity to provide input and review the final product prior to release to the public in H2oInstitute printed or Web documents. Further, the partner understands that H2oInstitute might refer media contacts interested in publicizing water efficiency to partners for information about products and accomplishments.

H2oInstitute's Commitments to Partners

1. Develop national and global specifications for water-efficient products and programs through an open, independent and public process;

2. Increase awareness of water initiatives by distributing key messages on the benefits of water efficient products and programs, and the importance of water efficiency;

3. Provide current program news, information, and reference documents via the program Web site, e-mail, or other means, including a listing of partner products, services, and programs;

4. Provide our partners with public recognition for their involvement in the program and role in protecting the environment through online listing of partners, special awards, publications, and other efforts;

5. Respond swiftly to partner requests for information or clarification on H2oInstitute partner program policies;

6. Provide materials, templates, and marks for promotional use, consistent with the H2oInstitute program guidelines;

7. Review pre-press promotional items, draft Web sites, packaging, or other materials that use the H2oInstitute marks upon request.
