H2OAlliance Agriculture Working Group

Water quality and supply of clean and safe water is very important for every agricultural use, from irrigation to livestock drinking water. Many countries are facing declining water quality challenges and diminishing water supply issues, and growing competition for the resource. Surface and groundwater resources may be of poor quality due to increasing salinity and nutrient loads. In the event of a long-term water shortage, increased pressure for conservation will fall primarily on the agricultural sector.

We focus on protecting the environment, conserving freshwater consumption, identifying and eliminating exiting water-related problems, and ensuring the water's suitability for its intended use. We invite you to join us.
