Composite Indicator Working Group
This working group is an independent New-Tech Business Forum developing and customizing common composite indicators and indicator management platforms to water users, water suppliers and environmental agencies. We invite you to join us.
Benefits
We look for opportunities to work with companies and organizations that share our vision of improving access to safe and clean water, expanding collaboration, and creating projects and research for conservation programs worldwide.
We formed our global working group in 2006, to understand the declining water quality and scarcity issues. We develop common composite indicators and management platform solutions. We serve as a focus group for interactions and international activities around these issues.
As a global working group, we address our commitment to water quality through a focused effort on developing composite indicators. We contribute to water issues that constructively improve an understanding of water risks and crisis management, and complex water resource management challenges. We advance knowledge and promote an ongoing working relation between business leaders and policy makers worldwide.
Worldwide demand for water is rising just as access to safe drinking water and sanitation remains inadequate in much of the developing world. The United Nations is calling for better management to alleviate water shortages. We work at the Environmental Technologies and Eco-Innovation teams across EU, Russia, China and Asia-Pacific, the CEO Water Mandate at the United Nations Global Compact, the Water IT working groups across the USA, and other places. We have learned and shared views on water challenges and risks, and become engaged with issues across industries and continents.
We work with companies and organizations to develop best practices and policies to address water issues in water infrastructure worldwide. We applaud your leadership role and commitment to address the growing problem of water issues.
We are proud to have been associated with the global water market during the past years. We believe that joint actions and policy decisions must be based on qualified data, proven methods, measurable practices, sound science, and time-tested technology solutions.
We are a unique global community of experts, leaders and learners. We integrate solutions and qualified data provided by industries and agencies from a variety of environments. The documentation and information management of common composite indicators, and successful risk mitigation practices and methods that emerge from our collaboration, is a powerful tool to improve the understanding of water issues and risks. We believe this directly supports the goals of the private industry, local governments, NGO's, and the global citizen.
