Chemical and biological contamination probably poses the most serious threat to the water supply. It would be impractical to contaminate source water - there is just too great a volume to achieve the necessary concentrations. However, contaminating finished water – either at small reservoirs, in water towers, or in sections of the distribution system - is feasible and could be highly destructive.
Because of many threats, our working group focus on new-technology solutions that can help operators effectively monitor, easily track changes in water quality online and alert in case of emergency. Our new-technology solutions can replace many traditional water safety sampling and routines, and make real-time communication, instant analyses and reports available 24/7. We invite you to join us.
