H2oAlliance Telcom Working Group

H2OAlliance Telcom working group implements mobile solutions to improve communication and management efficiency. Industrial water users and water suppliers can make best use of new-technology in early detection and alert work, as well as education, training and support, and marketing services. We invite you to join us.

Benefits

Mobile phones have revolutionized communications across the globe, more so in developing countries where landline infrastructure is lacking in many rural, and in even in urban areas. Mobile phones represent the only means of communication for hundreds of millions of people. At the same time, they have opened up huge economic and educational opportunities, as well as enabled simple project management opportunities for their users. People can now communicate, receive information, get training and ongoing support, use mobile technology to transfer alerts and reminders, and so on.

FreshWaterAlert

Telcom Industry Partnership Project 2010-2013

H2OAlliance telcom working group has developed an innovative mobile service to the water market customers. This service entitled 'FreshWaterAlert', FWA, will be available for the users during the first quarter in 2010. FWA with the leading telcom operators and ICT companies, will start delivering targeted water-related information, alerts, and messages to mobile subscribers.

Industrial water users and individuals in the developed and developing countries are heavily dependent on clean and safe freshwater. There is a need to address water safety, water security, management efficiency, and communication challenges, due to lack of timely, localized, reliable, targeted and relevant information on water quality, process control issues, risks, safety, weather conditions, best practices, and threats such as droughts, floods, and terrorism.

A real-time alert system, entitled 'FreshWaterAlert, FWA', equips individuals with decision critical information that is easy to access via mobile phone. It enables individuals take timely action to mitigate water risk and to improve management efficiency. The FWA service offers real-time alerts and information on various water risks, market and industry updates, weather conditions and forecasts. It makes actionable information available for subscribers at local level at global scale.

H2OAlliance working groups form local partnerships with telcom industry partners in key geographic locations to expand the impact of FWA service on global water market community. The FWA is a  business dedicated information service to address the real-time alert and information needs of industrial water suppliers and their customers, and water users. FWA will improve customer service of industrial water suppliers and enable real-time alerts and feedback. It will directly help address water safety, water security, efficiency, and risk mitigation, management and response challenges.

Water market mobile subscribers come from urban and rural areas both in the developed in developing countries. Deep-rooted network and strong customer connect even in most isolated areas is key to FWA success and make FWA as the preferred real-time information provider to offer value added services to the global water market customers with deep penetration and a subscriber base.

H2OAlliance collaboration platform is a good starting point for the launch of the FWA service to offer world class products and services enabling the daily communication needs of diverse customer segments. FWA information service is an innovative, productive, and efficient risk mitigation and management tool for the large water market community.

H2OAlliance working groups will partner with leading telcom providers in each country and/or geographic location, to bring this unique offering for subscribers, many of whom are dependent on safe and clean water for their daily business and livelihood.

FWA subscribers will get the following information updates: Water Safety Alerts, 24 hour local weather forecast most relevant to each user, information on best practices, and news impacting each user. FWA service is available for a monthly subscription fee and made available at ATC Global Platform to individuals and companies.

Individuals can subscribe to FWA services on internet at ATC platform , or call on a specially provided Toll Free Number - where they will be supported by customer care representatives to register their services and preferences.
