Campaign Overview

FreshWaterAlert™ campaign partners will work together to make a substantial contribution to solving water quality-related problems, and improving water-efficiency worldwide.

Our society, economy, and environment use water for variety of purposes. For the most part , however, we do not want water; we want the services and products that water provides; energy, food, medicine, beverages, paper, clothes, clean dishes, recreation, and healthy lawns, etc. Many of these services however, can be accomplished with substantially LESS WATER than is currently used, a concept that lies at the heart of water conservation, and efficiency.

  • The term 'water quality and efficiency' refers to actions and technologies that reduce water use without compromising services.
  • Conservation efforts can be either short- or long- term. Most conservation programs are based on temporary measures, such as water restrictions during severe droughts.
  • Implementation of water-quality monitoring and efficiency technologies, management programs, and water conservation activities are vital to effectively improve OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) to capture potential savings.
  • Water quality, conservation and efficiency programs will reduce water use without reducing services by improving quality of the end product, effiency and reducing waste.
  • It is much cheaper to monitor and analyze water quality in real-time, encourage efficiency and conserve water, than to build new water supplies or expanding existing ones.
  • Therefore, in every community on earth, water-quality and efficiency education is of great importance. Water-related risks and challenges need to be discussed in order for everyone to take action.
  • We can all contribute to the World Water Crisis by improving water-quality, efficiency, conserving water and energy, reducing use of chemicals, and monitoring water quality in the environment.
  • Communities, governments, politicians, and the private sector are important as our target-groups for raising awareness. They will be the ones to make decisions on policies how to manage water quality, and freshwater resources in a sustainable way.
  • It is imperative to make people, communities and the private sector fully aware of available water-quality management, efficiency solutions, technology and practices, in order to improve water-efficiency worldwide.

Public Service Announcement, PSA

All partners embrace the concept that winning companies do not only provide strong returns for their shareholders, but also give a share of their success back to the communities in which they live, work, and operate. We are very proud of our efforts to increase awareness about the world water crisis, and help conserve freshwater reserves around the world.

  • We invite your organization to become a sponsor of the 'Get More out of Water' campaign PSA in 2008.
  • Participation affords you a rare opportunity to communicate in a very personal manner to a wide range of consumers around the world.
  • Your message will be broadcast on television, radio, and on the internet. Your message will reach people around the world. You will receive up to one year of continuous marketing public relations exposure at a much lower rate than ever thought possible!

  • Participation is limited to select partners that meet the high profile requirements of our other key partners and the audience.

We look forward to discussing the possibilities of your participation in this unique PSA public relations program.

  • PSA distribution stands as the most cost-effective means of placing a message on the air, or on the internet.
  • We ensure maximum distribution, at the lowest possible rate with reliable results.
  • Our standard PSA distribution service targets 200 select TV stations, emphasizing stations with a track record of airing comparable spots, and radio PSA distribution service targets 1000 select radio stations.
  • The distribution can be tailored to emphasize your key markets.
  • Your PSA package as distributed to the TV stations includes the video, Nielsen Sigma electronic tracking, and a letter to the PSA director, color storyboards, and a prepaid broadcast report card.
  • We provide you with 26 weeks of Nielsen Sigma electronic tracking, monthly reports, and a final report and analysis of confirmed telecasts.
