Water Risk and Crisis Management Team

In 2006, H2oAlliance formed a working group to co-ordinate experts' efforts to understand the declining water quality and scarcity issues and risks, to promote their support for education and research, develop adaptive capacities for water risk mitigation to manage adverse impacts of climate change and to serve as the focus for interactions and international activities.

While working with the Environmental Technologies and Eco-Innovation team (EU), the CEO Water Mandate leadership team (UN Global Compact) and the Water IT working group (USA), we have learned and shared views on water management challenges. We have become engaged with the private sector, the assessment activity of policy, issues and challenges in Water infrastructure and in developing an organization to serve as a catalyst in creating a pathway to modern water IT infrastructure.

To contribute constructively to improving an understanding of this complex subject, and to maintain an appreciation of the evolving state-of-the-water management issues, H2oAlliance has developed a partnership program entitled "LetCleanWatersFlow" (www.LetCleanWatersFlow.com).

We invite you to join us to collaborate in critical areas of water management uncertainty that would advance knowledge and promote an ongoing working relation with the leading water risk and crisis management experts worldwide. The program was designed to improve understanding of water risks and crisis management issues at local level and provide speed-to-market solutions globally, these are one of the principal areas of uncertainty limiting predictions of future water management challenges due to adverse impacts of climate change.

We believe that joint actions and policy decisions must be based on qualified data, proven methods, measurable practices, science and time-tested technology solutions. The global community of experts and learners, integrated technology solutions, acquisition of qualified data in a variety of circumstances, industries and environments, and the documentation of successful risk mitigation practices and methods that emerge from our collaboration, can make an important contribution to improved understanding of water risks to the private and the public sector.
