Water Risk Detection and Crisis Management Technology

A very important aspect of water risk mitigation and crisis management process is effective and early detection, communication, planning and better understanding of the risks. However, a risk management policy can not be developed or improved without the availability of qualified information and real-time data. Therefore, early detection, real-time data, effective communication, collaboration and project management forms the basis for developing any water risk or crisis management plan or policy.

Integration of our customized nanosensors into platforms, devices and sensor networks will enable the detection of changes in water and liquids in real-time at very low concentrations, which is vital in most processes. These sensors can be integrated into existing systems and devices to produce a powerful network that can seamlessly communicate changes in water, liquid and slurry chemistry to people or other devices.

Selective detection and warning systems use up to twenty customized nanosensors simultaneously to monitor and measure chemistry in water, liquids and slurries. The system refines this data in neural network and delivers real-time analysis in an easy visual format to system operators. Each sensor is carefully designed, selected, and integrated into a neural data-handling network. The analyzed data is collected into an index and displayed instantly to produce accurate and timely information for easy interpretation. Since the electrical properties of sensors change appreciably when they come into contact with presence of molecules at low tolerances, they are excellent detectors of changes in water chemistry. Changes in chemistry can be easily monitored, measured and analyzed using electrochemistry combined with proven methods and practices developed by our water monitoring experts.

In addition to early detection, our platform solutions can also monitor, measure and analyze water usage, boost water-efficiency and improve OEE. Each system is customized to meet specific requirements, and is designed to improve detection, monitoring, measuring, analysis, collection, refining and delivery of real-time data on changes in water chemistry.

A key application for nanosensor technology is the integrated real-time early detection and warning systems, platforms and mobile units. These units are robust and require low maintenance. These units were originally designed for harsh conditions and have been used successfully in water monitoring and measuring, mining and minerals and paper and pulp industries. They can easily be integrated into other common process control devices, networks, and data processing platforms. These tools enhance existing process control technologies and improve instant detection and analysis of changes in liquid quality in slurries and water.

A primary application of these sensors is the integration into platforms, tools, and mobile devices for early detection of unknown hazards. Our core technology can be applied to monitor and report changes in any liquid chemistry in real-time using online, wireless or mobile devices.

H2oAlliance has delivered these sensors and monitoring systems to clientele in industrial, energy, environmental, health and research applications in Europe, North America and South America. These sensors and systems are used in variety of applications to monitor, measure and analyze water, slurry and pulp quality, and industrial chemicals.
