Integrated Water Management Platform (IWMP) - A Global Community of Water Management Experts, Leaders and Learners

H2oAlliance water market experts in Atlanta, GA, have built comprehensive tools, technology, and expertise in water management which can now be combined into a unique customized solution set for companies and supply chains to leverage. Early on, the leadership team of H2oAlliance recognized that water is a vital resource not to be taken for granted and that key issues are quality and scarcity.

H2oAlliance partners have built the capabilities to design, specify, implement, and support solutions to monitor, measure, analyze, and manage water quality, water supply, and risks throughout supply chains. It is not just however about the technology, the unique expertise and connections of H2oAlliance partners called PPP’s (public private partnerships), combine the experience of multinational enterprises, small to large companies, diverse industries, government contacts, policymakers, and global organizations. H2oAlliance has a passion and belief that people, businesses, organizations, and governments want to and must work together on solving water problems in developed and developing countries.

H2oAlliance has proven success on connecting expertise to bring the most effective water management solutions to the global market place at a local level. The story however is just beginning. Our team of over fifty IT, ICT, Cleantech, and  water experts based in Atlanta has now built a platform to enable this experience, expertise, and passion for water and resource management to be available at the touch of a finger tip.

Communication and collaboration are keys to success, and new solutions have unleashed capabilities to the latest productivity explosion. Using the latest dynamic web (3.0 ready) technology, we have achieved what was at once just an idea. An online water management platform (WMP) is now available for users to experience the full capability of collaboration in water management. Imagine an independent place, internal or external, where you can find relevant information, discuss ideas, narrow your discussion to a group of highly qualified experts and solution providers, execute a proposal/bid cycle, solve your water problems, manage a project, support a process, and measure results. You don’t have to imagine, because it is here and H2oAlliance has it.

About the Platform

Although the latest advances in technology of the internet have provided improvements for individuals to seek information easily, the benefits to companies and organization has not been fully realized.  Most of the advances have occurred at the consumer level. In addition, the cost to businesses to provide the capabilities is labor intensive and expensive particularly in targeted segments such as water quality and risk management: highly targeted, independent, up-to-date water management information and solutions; new-tech, high-tech, clean-tech, and mobile tools and devices; time-tested proven practices and methods across industries and continents.

Recognizing this gap, H2oAlliance has provided a unique solution. It has taken three years of water market research, with over 200 experts contributing from diverse backgrounds including industry, business, technology, ICT, SCM, GSM, process management, automation, engineering, academic and public policy. The result is a first of its kind, independent 'Water and resource management and collaboration platform'. The effort to build such a platform is substantial; 18,000 of man hours, 26 months, and millions of dollars to design and custom build the platform.

We recognize that it would require major investments and ongoing support for companies and organizations to build and maintain what we have already accomplished and what is planned for the future support of an independent global community of water management experts, leaders and learners. This integrated and independent platform will improve water and resource management efficiency and reduce management costs (human & capital), as experts, leaders, professionals and learners at local, global and corporate level are connected by targeted information, collaboration, and expertise. This platform will enable even developing countries with very limited budgets and resources to empower their professionals with knowledge and information. They can share their unique problems with community of experts to learn how they can effectively solve problems and implement solutions at local level.
